Wausau property owners call Trauma Clean Pros because we treat Biohazard work as its own specialty, not a side service. Every technician we send carries current bloodborne pathogen certification and the equipment to match.
Speak With A Technician What We Handle
Trauma Clean Pros operates as a licensed, insured Biohazard remediation company based to serve Wausau and the surrounding Wausau, WI region. Every technician on our roster carries an active bloodborne pathogen certification and works under documented OSHA protocols, whether the job is a single room or a full commercial floor.
Dispatch is answered by a real person, not a call center script, because most callers are dealing with something they've never faced before and need a straight answer fast.
Biohazard jobs rarely end at the last wipe-down. Insurance adjusters, landlords, and sometimes probate attorneys need documentation, and Trauma Clean Pros provides a full report with every job so that part moves faster.
Wausau clients get the same equipment tier used in medical-grade decontamination, not a scaled-down version meant for general cleaning.
Blood and bodily fluids carry bloodborne pathogens including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV, and these pathogens survive in flooring, grout, and drywall long after the surface looks clean. Household disinfectants aren't formulated to neutralize that level of contamination. Around Wausau, our dispatch line hears these situations on a weekly basis:
The longer these situations go unaddressed, the more material typically needs to be removed, since contamination doesn't stay contained to where it started.
When a death isn't discovered right away, decomposition byproducts soak into materials far beyond the visible area.
Investigators clear the scene for evidence purposes, but the physical restoration — from blood removal to structural repair — is a separate job entirely.
Years of accumulated belongings frequently conceal mold growth, pest activity, and biohazard material that needs specialized sorting.
Sewage carries bacteria and parasites that make affected carpet, drywall, and insulation unsalvageable without full remediation.
We follow a documented decontamination checklist using EPA List N products for confirmed exposure cases.
Facility managers call us when an incident requires regulated waste handling beyond routine janitorial work.
Every job gets scoped individually before a crew steps inside. These are the services Wausau clients rely on us for most.
Each service below can be scoped on its own or combined into a single job when a property has more than one issue, such as a hoarding situation that also uncovered a sewage leak.
Blood and biological material are removed using enzymatic treatment rated specifically for bloodborne pathogen decontamination.
We remove decomposition-affected flooring down to subfloor when necessary, then run ozone or hydroxyl equipment to neutralize lingering odor.
Our crews sort belongings methodically, separating salvageable items from biohazard waste and flagging mold or structural concerns as we go.
Blackwater extraction is followed by removal of anything porous that absorbed contamination, then a full antimicrobial application.
We follow a documented decontamination checklist for homes, offices, and vehicles tied to a confirmed infectious exposure.
We handle commercial and industrial biohazard events with full chain-of-custody waste disposal paperwork.
